Beautifully painted and both are signed lower right.
Mary GOW (later Mrs Hall) born in in 1851, painted genre subjects, exhibiting 18 works at Suffolk Street and 6 at the Royal Academy. She married the painter Sydney Prior Hall and died in 1929. See Christopher Wood page 184. Priced for the pair.
