Description

A fine oil on canvas depicting a brace of dead pheasants, laid out on crumpled paper. The painting is very skillfully handled with large brush strokes used to create single feathers.

In all a very well executed and detailed painting being rich in colour and an accurate depiction.

The painting bears a signature stating SOAR lower left bottom corner,but I have been unable to identify the artist.

FRAME

The work is mounted in a modern quality bespoke made frame, blue in colour to bring out the colour in the painting.

CONDITION

The whole is in excellent condition throughout and is ready to hang.

DATELINE

Estimated to be around the 1950.s
