"Sand Cart, Siena" Etching by Owen Jennings

Description

Edgar Owen Jennings RWS ARE ARCA ATD was born in Skipton, Yorkshire in 1899. He studied at Skipton School of Art, Leeds College of Art and the R.C.A. He taught art at Doncaster and Leeds before becoming principal at Tunbridge Wells School of Art.

"Sand Cart, Siena" is a superb etching signed by the artist lower right and inscribed lower left with title and numbered "75" in pencil. It measures 10"x 12". The image is in fine original condition with some staining around the border from an old mount which could be hidden when framed. It is unframed at present.
