An interesting C19th oil painting in the primitive manner, of a child, dressed in a scarlet romper suit with a silk sash and silk slippers, playing with a magpie with a piece of paper in his beak, with three bemused cats looking on. In a giltwood acanthus carved frame.Labels on the reverse 'Miss Leslie Harrison' and 'Royal Academy'.
