A charming English naive school Stag Hunting Scene. The work in oils on canvas, laid down on board, shows riders after a stag approaching a stream where one of the riders has fallen, all happening in a wooded upland area. The work is in good condition, sadly not marked, and is mounted in probably the original gilt frame, which has had some repair. C.1880.
