An impressive 10" dial mercury barometer. A tapered case with choice mahogany veneers. Ebonised case edging. A swan-neck pediment with central brass finial. A hygrometer, thermometer and main dial signed 'Watkins & Hill, Charing Cross, London'. They are recorded as working from 1819-1857. This example dates to 1835.
