Description

very nicley painted in the art noveau style. Sydny Carter was bornin England, but lived in south Africa from 1923. He painted portraits and landscapes. He was also a cartoonist working in oils and gouache. Carter held numerous solo exhibitions including exhibiting at the Royal Academy.

condition very clean paintings under glass frames are plaster some chips to frame and shrinkage cracks in a brown wood finish.
