Raphael Kirchner (1876 - 1917). An Original Drawing of a Naked Young Girl wearing only White Stockings. Unsigned. C.1900. This drawing is from a collection purchased at the artist's Studio Sale in Paris. A portrait painter, designer, illustrator and watercolourist, Raphael Kirchner exhibited in Paris at the Salon Des Artistes. He is best known for work published in several Parisian magazines and particularly in "La Vie Parisienne". He was the first and best known ofn the artists who portrayed the female form in glamorous situations.
