Description

ANONYMOUS(?) ~ a very well painted OIL ON PANEL of a rural Continental scene, with figures and sheep in the foreground of a country road and with trees and a town with its dominant church steeple in the background.

This is beautifully painted ~ possibly French ~ certainly Continental. Although "anonymous" there are clear signs of a signature: (perhaps "A. M...mes"?) lower right-hand corner ~ see close-up picture.
