Owen Bowen "Still Life" Pair Oils on Canvas

1900 - 1920
Description

Owen Bowen was born in Leeds in 1873. He also lived in Robin Hood's Bay and East Keswick, Yorkshire.

Dales, coastal scenes and still life paintings were a speciality and he was a member of both the Staithes and Wharfedale Groups of Painters.

Bowen exhibited widely, including works at the Royal Academy, Royal Cambrian Academy, Liverpool and Manchester.

This pair of still life paintings are oils on board each measuring 9"x 7" and each is signed with a monogram O.B.

The paintings are in good condition and are framed in good hand made gilt frames.
