Dresser Welsh Dresser North Wales Denbighshire Oak C1720

Here we have a beautiful original Denbighshire Welsh dresser c1720. As you can see the dresser has breathtaking colour and patina. The canopied top retains its original wide planked backboards. There are two shelves with thumb moulded edges to the front. The top shelf has slots for spoons a fantastic feature. There are shaped sides to the top which lead to the wonderful base. This high quality base has a delicious three plank top with notiecable four peg cleats to stop plank seperation. The thumb moulding is also replicated on the edge of the top. Beneath there are three drawers each with chamfered fronts and a wonderful three stepped moulding and original handles. You will notice that this chamfer and triple moulding has been replicated on the cupboard doors. The sides of the base have also been paneled another mark of the quality of this dresser. Of course the dresser is of pegged construction throughout. A wonderful and very rare dresser in super original condition of excellent proportions. A piece for the purist. The dimensions are approx 60 inches wide 75 high and 23 deep.
