Pair of George Armfield Oil Paintings.

Description

Superb pair of oils on board by the acclaimed English animal artist George Armfield (1808-1893). Beautifully painted, signed on the reverse and annotated in another hand ‘Tired Out’ and ‘Left at Home’. Good giltwood frames, each one carrying a small plaque with the name of the artist. Previously sold by Mandell’s of Norwich, their card on the reverse.

Framed dimensions: width 9", depth 1", height 7".
