Fine and Rare Set of Four English Shooting Prints.

Description

Here we offer a lovely set of four Shooting Prints after Dean Wolstenholme.

The set of four plates are aquatints by R.G. Reeve with fine original colour, each measuring 18"x 23". They were published in September 5th 1806

by R. Reeve, 7, Vere Street, Oxford Street and the paper of one bears a watermark for "J.Whatman 1806".

There is a label on the reverse of each frame for

"Arthur Ackermann & Son, 3, Old Bond Street, London" and each is framed in a good quality later "Ackermann" brown hogarth frame.

This is an exceptional set of old English Sporting Prints in lovely original unrestored condition. A rare find.
