A charming oil on walnut panel painting of ducks swimming down a stream. The painting is worked in thick impasto colours with much thought put into the sunlight coming through the leafy trees. The work is mounted in a wavy molded frame probably the original. The oil is in excellent condition and is signed to the lower right, however I have been unable to decipher it, but the work must have been done by an artist of note. C.1900.
