A large pastel coloured watercolour depicting a seascape of a costal scene with a rough sea. Probably from the South Coast around Worthing area, Sussex. (England, c. 1900) .Signed by the artist Frederick Aldridge

Provenance

Frederick Aldridge is listed as exhibiting 1880-1992, at Suffolk Street and New Watercolour Society, (afterwards the Royal Institute)

Current Condition

The painting is in good condition, it has been mounted on a canvas from the rear.Some minor repairs to the gesso of the frame.

Declaration

Worboys Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
