"THE AIREDALE HEIFER" is a fine original colour aquatint by R.G. Reeve, 3, Gough Square. It measures 22"x 27" and is contained in a good old frame. It is inscribed below the image as follows:

"THIS PLATE IS RESPECTFULLY INSCRIBED TO GEORGE LANE FOX ESQUIRE OF BRAMHAM PARK AND TO MESSRS. BENCE & BACON OF RIDDLESTON HALL NEAR KEIGHLEY BY THEIR MOST OBEDIENT SERVANT WILLIAM SLINGSBY",

also "HER ASTONISHING DIMENSIONS WERE AS FOLLOWS:" Followed by her weights and dimensions, and

"THIS WONDERFUL ANIMAL WAS THE PROPERTY OF MR. WILLIAM SLINGSBY AND WAS BRED BY HIM AT CARLTON IN CRAVEN AND FED AT

RIDDLESTON HALL NEAR KEIGHLEY IN YORKSHIRE"
