Fred Cecil Jones "A Composition" Watercolour

Description

Fred Cecil Jones R.B.A. was born in Bradford in 1891. He studied at Bradford and Leeds Colleges of Art and taught art at Pudsey Grammar School and was Deputy Principal of Pudsey School of Art.

His work is highly regarded and is widely collected especially in Yorkshire and the North of England.

He exhibited widely including works at the Royal Academy, Liverpool and the Royal Scottish Academy.

The watercolour is signed and inscribed "A Composition" by the artist. It is mounted in conservation board and is framed.

This is one of a group of charming watercolours by Jones we currently have for sale.
