Arthur Friedenson "The River Frome, Dorset" Oil on Panel

Description

Arthur Friedenson was born in 1872 in Leeds. He studied art at Leeds then in France at the Academie Julian and also at the Antwerp Academy. He lived at Staithes and was a member of the Staithes Group, later moving to Dorset.

His work was exhibited widely at galleries including the Royal Academy, Liverpool, The Fine Art Society, Royal Society of Oil Painters and the Royal Scottish Academy.

"The River Frome, Dorset" is a good quality atmospheric oil painting on panel measuring 8"x 10". It is signed lower right and is in excellent unrestored condition.
