McTague of Harrogate has dated this piece to the 1940s.
"SPRINGTIME, GRASSINGTON FROM FOUR WINDS", is a good quality watercolour measuring 10"x 15". It is signed lower right and inscribed on reverse with title and name "J. West F.R.S.A., R.W.S." and date 1946. It is in a good quality gilt frame with a conservation acid-free mount.
This is a charming watercolour of Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales.
