Set of Four Old Fishing Prints

1900 - 1920
Description

Lance Thackeray was a British artist best known for his comic sporting illustration and was active between 1899 and 1916.

"THE CATCH OF THE SEASON" is a good full set of four prints titled as follows:

1. "CAST"

2. "HUNG UP"

3. "A NIBBLE" and

4. "LANDED"

This set of four coloured prints were published 1905,

each plate measures 12"x 17", each frame size 20"x 26".

Each print is mounted over the existing border

and lettered with it's title on the mount.

This is a charming set of fishing prints
