Here we offer a group of original colour aquatints after J. Ferneley and C. Hancock (at messrs. Tattersalls).

The Racehorses: " LITTLE WONDER, MANGO, NUTWITH, SPANIEL, CORONATION, GLENCOE, CHORISTER, PHOSPHORUS, ROWTON, QUEEN OF TRUMPS, CHARLES THE TWELFTH and ELLIS"

A splendid series of twelve racehorses

engraved by E.Duncan, J.Webb and others

after paintings by Ferneley and Hancock,

aquatints with good original colour,

each 16"x 20", each contained in it's original simple gilt frame, published by R.Ackermann

at his Eclipse Sporting Gallery, 191, Regent Street.

They are mostly Derby and St.Leger winners

of between 1830 and 1840 and are all fine early impressions in fair unrestored condition.

This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase a large group of these scarce old English sporting pictures which make an impressive set of sporting prints.
