"The Northern Jockies" Old Racing Lithograph

Description

Anson A. Martin was a sporting and animal painter who worked in the Yorkshire and Birmingham areas of England. His work is quite scarce.

"THE NORTHERN JOCKIES" is a fine quality original colour lithograph which is inscribed below

"dedicated by permission to the Jockey Club by their obedient servant Anson A. Martin".

It was published circa 1850 and is contained in a very good unusual original oak frame.

The picture measures 17"x 22"
