George Stubbs "Sweetbrier" Old Print

Description

This is a wonderful old Stubbs engraving of the racehorse "SWEETBRIER."

It is a stipple engraving by George Townley Stubbs "Engraver to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales". It measures 16"x 20" and is the early Turf Gallery Edition. It is inscribed "London published December 1794 by Messrs. Stubbs,Turf Gallery, Conduit Street."

It is contained in a good period London hogarth frame with brass corners.

This is a rare old print in superb original unrestored condition.
