Description

Here we offer a wonderful quality oil on canvas by the Yorkshire painter and founder member of the Staithes Group Owen Bowen.

Bowen lived between 1873 and 1967 and this atmospheric picture is from his best early period, being dated 1915.

"EVENING" is signed lower right and measures 24"x 36". It is contained in a very good quality period gilt frame.
