The Farmyard Oil Painting

1900 - 1920
Description

Edward Steel Harper (Junior) lived between 1878 and 1951.

He was the art master at Wolverhampton Grammar School and exhibited between 1920 and 1937 at galleries including the Royal Academy, Royal Society of Oil Painters, Liverpool and Birmingham. He lived at 55, Moor Pool Avenue, Harborne, Birmingham.

"The Farmyard" is a charming old oil painting on board and is contained in it's superb original hammered metal Arts & Crafts period frame.

It is signed lower right and dated 1901 lower left. It measures 20"x 26"
