Brief Description:
The painting beautifully captures the movement and elegance of the horse, with lovely attention to its muscular form, flowing mane and racing tack. The composition is set against a softly muted background, allowing the horse and rider to take centre stage.
Signed Janet Brook in the lower right corner.
The painting is beautifully presented within an ornate gilt moulded frame, featuring decorative scrollwork and a contrasting burgundy velvet slip, which complements the subject wonderfully.
