George Stubbs "SHARKE".

This stipple engraving by George Townley Stubbs after a picture by George Stubbs is inscribed below:

"George Towlnly Stubbs Engraver to his R.H. the Prince of Wales" and

"London, Republished June 4, 1817

by Edward Orme, New Bond Street, corner of Brook Street".

It measures 16"x 20" and is a very fine and strong impression of the second state of this wonderful engraving and is a superb example of an old Stubbs picture.

It is contained in a good old hogarth frame.
