The timber has been stripped to reveal its natural warm colour and attractive grain. The seat is fitted with a comfortable foam cushion with removable upholstered cover. A useful and versatile piece which would work well in a hallway, kitchen, boot room or dining space.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition, commensurate with age and use. There is wear and fading to the rear of the pew, together with various marks and signs of previous use. There are splits to sections of the timber, consistent with age, although these are stable and do not affect the structural integrity of the piece. There is evidence of historic woodworm throughout; this is long inactive and the pew has been treated as a precaution. The cushion and removable cover are in good usable condition. The pew remains solid, stable and structurally sound. Overall, an attractive example with good character and practical appeal.
