Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

The Arts and Crafts movement emerged in the late 19th century as a reaction to industrial mass production, emphasizing simple forms, visible joinery, and natural materials such as oak, brass, and hand-glazed ceramics.

These tables were constructed primarily from solid hardwoods such as oak, walnut, or mahogany, inset with glazed ceramic art tiles designed to withstand heat and moisture while providing visual interest.

Authentic maker pieces often feature stamped brass locks, cabinetmaker inventory stamps on the underside, high-quality drawer linings, and distinct regional design motifs such as stylized plant forms or chequerboard tilework.

A tiled side table functions effectively as an accent piece positioned beside a sofa, integrated into a reading nook, or placed in an entryway to add structural texture and historic depth to neutral contemporary spaces.

Clean the glazed ceramic tiles using a damp, soft cloth without abrasive detergents, and preserve the wooden frame by applying a high-grade natural beeswax polish along the grain periodicially.
