Description

This fine antique Gothic Revival oak bench has been carefully restored and fully reupholstered, making it ready for immediate use and lasting enjoyment. Our upholsterer combined traditional techniques with a modern horsehair alternative to produce a well-shaped, firm, and supportive seat. At 148 cm long, it would make an elegant addition to the foot of a bed, a hallway, or an alcove. As upholstery fabric is a personal choice and should suit its surroundings, we selected a versatile material that enhances the Gothic oak show-wood frame without dominating it. The sheen of Warwick Spruce velvet works beautifully with the rich tone of English Brown oak. If you would prefer a different top cover, please get in touch; it can be changed quickly and affordably.
