Culvertons has dated this Gothic Revival Oak Bench to the 1870s.
At 148 cm long, it would sit beautifully at the end of a bed, in a hallway, or within an alcove. As fabric is a personal choice and should suit its new setting, we selected a versatile material that complements the Gothic oak show-wood frame without overwhelming it. The lustre of the Warwick Spruce velvet pairs beautifully with the rich surface of English Brown oak. However, please let us know if you do want to change the top cover to a fabric of your choice, as this can be done affordably and in a timely manner.
