Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated this George III Oak Lowboy to the 18th Century.
The drawers retain their original brass swan neck handles and decorative escutcheons.

Raised on four square tapering legs united to the drawer section with attractive shaped corner brackets, this is a well-balanced and refined example of a classic Georgian lowboy. The clean lines and practical size make it an ideal hall table, side table, lamp table or occasional piece in both period and contemporary interiors.

Presented in good antique condition with a rich mellow patina and the expected age-related marks and wear consistent with over 240 years of use. The drawers run well and the table is solid and ready for everyday use.
