A very decorative & large carved wood and polychrome decorated figure of an Indian Soldier, with a patterned orange turban in Scarlet and green striped robes, in a relaxed stance with legs crossed and resting on his spear. Mounted on a painted plinth base.

In very good condition and still retaining his colourful original paint. circa 1880.
