An original late 19th century English shop sign, executed in the verre églomisé technique (reverse-gilded and painted glass). Made for a British high-street chemist, the sign features the gilt inscription ''CHEMIST &'' bordered by a classic Greek-key pattern.
 
Condition: Good original condition, light age related wear to the gilding.
