Arthur Friedenson "Bracken Gathering" Oil on Panel

Description

Arthur Friedenson (1872-1955) was a highly regarded member of the Staithes Group of Painters on the Yorkshire coast.

"BRACKEN GATHERING" oil on panel, measures 10"x 14". It has an original label on back inscribed in the artist's hand:

"Bracken Gathering, price 18 gns"

also his address "Redcliffe, Wareham, Dorset."

It also has a Bourlet & Sons label.

This is an exceptional example of the work of this highly regarded artist. It is painted on a lovely panel and is in excellent unrestored condition.

It is contained in a good old swept frame.
