Scottish Impressionist Impasto Oil Painting Mountainous Landscape Mid-Century

Brief Description:

This is an immaculately presented original Impasto Oil on Board Painting depicting a magnificent Impressionist Scottish Highland with a tall Munro mountain, a large pine forest and a freshwater river running through the centre.

Note: This is one of three works we are selling by the same artist - please see our other listings.

Dating to circa 1955-1960, and mounted within the outstanding quality original two-tone hessian moulded frame.

The detail of the painting throughout is extremely special, and the textured surface is incredible.

It is signed in the lower-left corner, Don Stamp.
