Biography
Artist and painter, Donald Grant was born in North Shields, Northumberland in 1930.
At the age of nine, he sold his first painting, demonstrating an extraordinary gift as a talented young artist.

The Duke of Gloucester complimented Grant when the youngster created a large mural inside a public building. During his regular trips to Africa, artist Donald Grant created a myriad of detailed sketches while on safari.

Grant was exhibited his paintings at the Royal Academy in London, as well as New York's National Art Museum of Sport. His artwork displays his understanding of the natural world of wildlife with all its drama.

Donald Grant's wildlife paintings have been sold all over the world depicting majestic African animals such as elephants in their natural habitat, depicting tropical grasslands of the Savanna into your home.

Frame is original and has the early brown canvas inset and the mount is 1 inch piece of wood on to panel.
