Description

A solid wooden church pew with shaped ends and decorative finials. It features a panelled back and a solid single-plank seat, with exposed pegged joints visible to the ends. A hymn-book rest runs along the back. An attractive silhouette, finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout, with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places, including age-related marks and scratches, particularly to the seat. There are also small losses to the front where the pew was originally fixed to the floor. Despite these points, it remains overall solid and sound.
