These are resting above a long two-plank seat with open arms which are resting on turned posts leading to baluster-turned legs. Additionally, two end stretchers brace the settle, and 3 turned baluster uprights under the seat provide further sturdy support. A long swab cushion in pale gold with shield motifs provides a soft seating option.
In very good condition. Commensurate age-related wear and tear, but otherwise solid with no loose joints and a deep, rich colour.
