Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
This is lovely piece I expect that originally it stood on a dresser base but it could be wall hung, there are two small cupboard doors on either side of the main shelves, these lock and are decorated with a small shell inlaid oval and abundant carving
The back boards are Oak and the shelf has a superb patina and it is in good condition for its age
The shelf is 8” deep, it is 50” high, 70” long at the top and 67” long at the base
