A fine 19th-century Welsh oak dresser of generous proportions. The base comprises three drawers above three lower central drawers � the two bottom drawers being dummy fronts � all fitted with wooden knobs and decorative escutcheons. The drawers to either side are latched and accessed through the cupboard doors, which open to reveal a single fitted shelf in each. Standing on shaped corner bracket feet, the dresser separates into two sections for ease of transport. The upper section features an attractive shaped rack of three fixed shelves, with the addition of a later hardwood backboard.
