We believe this to be part of the collection of sketches by E Becker that by HM Queen Elizabeth II purchased from Ralph Eugene Meatyard in June 1954 for The Royal Collection Trust

A finely observed early 19th-century topographical drawing of Windsor Castle, likely executed by E. Becker (or the Circle of) — the noted draughtsman of royal Windsor views. Executed in Becker’s distinctive style with strong architectural lines and soft grey wash foliage, echoing drawings held in the Royal Collection.
