Marcel André Bouraine (1886-1948) was one of the most important French sculptors of the Art Deco era, whose work is highly sought after by collectors, specifically small statuettes, lamps, bookends, and radiator figures. He studied under Joseph-Alexandre Falguière and also worked with Argy Rouseau, and was also a member of the Evolution Group. He exhibited widely including at the Salon des Artistes Français, the Salon d''Automne and the Salon des Tuileries.
Suzanne Rachel Flore Lenglen (1899-1938) was a famous French tennis player. She was the inaugural world No. 1 from 1921 to 1926, winning eight Grand Slam titles in singles and twenty-one in total. She was also a four-time World Hard Court Champion in singles and te
