Description

Here we have a good Yorkshire view of West Tanfield village showing the bridge over the River Ure (Wensleydale) in Yorkshire.

It is painted by Willie Stephenson (1857-1938), a Huddersfield landscape painter.

It is an oil on canvas measuring 20"x 30", is signed lower right and has an old inscription on the reverse:"OCTOBER EVENING, WEST TANFIELD."

It is contained in gilt frame.
