We are pleased to offer this watercolour by Cuthbert Crossley titled

"GRASMERE FROM SILVER HOWE"

It measures 20"x 14", is signed with the artists distinctive monogram and is contained in a good quality gilt frame.

Crossley was born in 1883 in Halifax, Yorkshire and studied and worked part time at Halifax School of Art.

He exhibited at the Royal Academy, Birmingham, Royal Scottish Academy and many other good galleries.

This is a very attractive and atmospheric watercolour showing a distant view of Grasmere in the English Lake District.
