Lawrence was Born in Stoke Climsland, Cornwall in 1882. He became apprentice to Architect Ernest Wise in 1882 and went on to marry Elizabeth Beatrice Knight and the pair had three children. Lawrence is known to have lived at Rose Lane, Norwich in 1939 and at that time earnt his living as an architect draftsman. His paintings were exhibited from 1923-1924 in the Norfolk & Norwich Art Circle. Lawrence died September 1st 1945 at Chippenham, Wiltshire.
