A rare English Arts & Crafts antique solid teak garden bench seat by J.P.White of The Pyghtle Works, Bedford around 1890. Most of his garden bench designs were always painted white originally. This rare example is a great survivor, in such good, intact and original condition.
This antique teak garden bench seat is a lovely size and model having a central pierced heart motif to the back splat, along with slatted back test and seat, the shapely arms have well turned arm supports. Stands well on square legs that have square stretchers joining them. In excellent, solid condition. Perfect for an English country garden or courtyard. The seat height is 43cm.
