A Moorish Amboyna Burr Inlaid Octagonal Table, C1900 with Arch Legs, 49cm wide.A superbly stylish, rare amboyna burl inlaid octagonal table, a Moorish table of exquisite design and fine exotic timbers with geometric inlaid, arched base, a very fine thing.Believed to date circa 1900 with traditionally a list off top and folding base, the top has been secured beneath the lid, which is accessible from beneath, it still has its original hinges if anyone would want to reinstate its folding capability.A splendid octagonal top of the rare, exotic amboyna timber with a central star inlay and native specimen block inlaid to the edges.
