Chinese Carved Amethyst Figure Sage

Description

This is a carved amethyst bust of a bearded Chinese sage

The amethyst is very nicely striated which allows the light to illuminate the piece with much character. The sage is in traditional Chinese robes and the pice is very well carved with good detail.

The bust measures 11cm high.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
