This is an antique side table. A Chinese, ebonised mahogany and marble jardiniere or planter stand, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1850.

Of a darling, diminutive form with deep tonality and quality marble top

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout

Ebonised finish presents a superb, dark aesthetic to the table

Quality rouge marble inlaid to the shaped top, with beading to the edge

Ornate pierced fretwork aprons set between each leg

Prominent relief forms accentuate the knees with lobed and foliate motif
